Determining the correct mill for a certain product depends on the grinding process and on the desired particle size distribution. While the Roller Mill grinds relatively coarse products, the Universal Mill, as a representative of impact crushing, can grind finer powders. By using special rotors and grinding tools the fineness can be increased, like for example in the Gap Mill or by using air classifiers behind the mill or in an Air Classifier Mill.
